Benzaldehyde lyase (BAL)

Short Description:

About Benzaldehyde lyase

ES-BAL (Benzaldehyde lyase): a kind of enzyme that catalyze hydroxymethylation of aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes with formaldehyde to produce the corresponding α- Hydroxymethyl ketone. BAL is thiamine diphosphate (ThDP) – dependent enzyme. There is only 1 kind of BAL enzyme product (Number as ES-BAL101) developed by SyncoZymes, which can be used for hydroxymethylation of aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes.
